A custom blend of the beers of Bear Republic, Cuvee de Bubba is refermented
by wild yeasts in selected wine barrels. The Cuvee is an amber brew
with a bouquet of stone fruits and boasts a complex flavor profile of
malts backed by a hint of tobacco, and topped off with a tart cherry

Our brewers originally created this ale to showcase a specific hop,
Simcoe. We now use this crisp, reddish pale ale to showcase different
varieties of hops. While each Rebellion has the same malt and bitterness
level, the single variety hop’s character shines through. Variety
used for this batch: Chinook.

& John’s IPA
Pro-Am Competition entry brewed by John Arends
A big IPA for the true hop head. This brew, created by Ken Larson and
John Arends over 15 years ago, was inspired by the thirst for big fresh
hops and a nice malty foundation. A beer that after the pint was gone,
you wanted another. At the time that this recipe was created there was
no such thing as double IPAs. The thought of using a hop such as Columbus
in the finish, was far from tradition. Ken, John, and Bear Republic
are proud to present to you this big beautiful double IPA, cheers!
